If it is true -- that "Knowledge Is Power" -- then this is a book that has the power to take you far more deeply into your relationship with Jesus Christ.
For this book provides you the knowledge necessary to concentrate entirely on the power of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Just as the Apostle Paul was determined so to do. (1 Corinthians 2:2)
It is in this way that this book will take you far more deeply into your relationship with Jesus Christ.Enhancing the depth of your faith as it empowers you in your practical application of His teachings.
WHY the crucifix, like the one pictured on the front cover, has long been a treasured symbol of the early and historic church. (After all, it is a representation of the most holy place in human history!)
HOW the Apostle Paul paints the stunning picture of the immolated body of Christ--the crucified body hanging on the Cross--as the literal holy of holies of the new and everlasting temple. (We'll cover this in detail, in simple language everyone can understand, so don't worry.)
HOW on the Cross, Christ our high priest after the Melchizedek order worked in the inner sanctuary of the New Covenant temple and provided for mankind the perfect sacrifice. (If you don't understand this yet that's ok, not many do, but YOU WILL when you're done reading this book!)
WHY you must enhance your faith as you think on these things, and empower yourself for the practical application of His teachings; for this is how to ensure you do not fall away. (Exactly as Jesus taught.)
"I read your book to my husband and especially saw how chapters 8 and 9 were perfectly said in his time of need. I am so grateful for that.”
“Thank you so much for this book, I am buying many more copies to give to my friends and family. I especially love your explanation and application of the 1st and 2nd Resurrections.”
"Never have I seen such a powerful representation of what Christ did on the Cross. My faith has been deepened through your book."
"Melchizedek. I've always wondered about him, but could never quite understand him. Until now. Thank you for that.”
"Wow, Jesus the high priest working in the most holy place--his immolated body--on the Cross. Just wow.”
About the Author
There really isn't a lot that the author, who graduated from the University of Michigan and has over 30 years experience in executive management in the business world, feels is important about himself with this book. With this in mind, the following is from the concluding chapter.
In going out to Him beyond the boundaries of this world...
Remember that it is at the Cross that all of us--each and every one of us--are saved.
Let us, then, set aside even every hint of pride and, in poverty of spirit, never forget that, "Our constant sacrifice to God should be the praise of lips that give thanks to His name." (Hebrews 13:15)
And, that, "We should not forget to do good and to share our good things with others, for these too are the sort of sacrifices God will accept." (Hebrews 13:16)
May the God of peace equip you completely in everything good for the doing of His will. May He effect in you everything that pleases Him through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory for ever and ever.
